A Clojure overlay for Gentoo

Notes

There is now a dev-util/clojure-tools package in the main Gentoo repository. Please use the official package from now own. The clojure-tools package in this repository will no longer be updated.

Packages in this overlay likely install binaries that would not otherwise be fitting for Gentoo, such as upstream Babashka binaries.

Installation

To use this overlay, create the following configuration file:

# /etc/portage/repos.conf/clojure-overlay.conf
[clojure-overlay]
location = /var/db/repos/clojure-overlay
masters = gentoo
sync-type = git
sync-uri = https://codeberg.org/golanv/clojure-overlay.git

Make sure `git` is installed. After adding the overlay, it can be synced with:

sudo emaint sync -r clojure-overlay

Usage

After syncing the overlay, you can install packages from it as usual:

# As an example...
sudo emerge -av dev-lang/babashka-bin
